USA: UN LUNGO VIAGGIO COAST TO COAST PER SALVARE AMBIENTE

Un trentenne italiano pedale per oltre 5mila chilometri.
24 agosto 2006 - Ha pedalato da New York a Los Angeles, coprendo una distanza di oltre 5 mila chilometri in un solo mese, per sensibilizzare il mondo sul rispetto della natura e ora, arrivato a destinazione, Renato Gaudino aspetta di incontrare Steven Spielberg per consegnarli la sceneggiatura del suo film a tema ambientale. Piemontese, trentenne e con un diploma di ragioniere in tasca, l'aspirante regista che ogni giorno corre per un'ora con i suoi due cani nel parco della Baraggia, ammonisce: 'Dobbiamo rimboccarci le maniche, smetterla di maltrattare l'ambiente con i nostri capricci da pigri inquinatori. Non abbiamo piu' tempo da perdere'. E' proprio questo che Gaudino ha voluto dimostrare con il suo viaggio, a tratti anche difficile: 'Piu' di una volta ho pensato di non farcela, due sono stati i momenti peggiori: nel primo non-stop tra New York e Cincinnati ero depresso perche' avevo preso molta pioggia e la stampa americana non sembrava interessata alla mia performance. Nel secondo non-stop, tra Monument Valley e il Grand Canyon, invece, il sole picchiava cosi' forte che ero costretto a bere un litro di acqua ogni mezz'ora. Sono stato inseguito anche da un branco di cani randagi, ero davvero allo stremo delle forze'. A parte questi momenti duri, il resto del viaggio e' andato via tranquillo e il calore della gente gli ha spesso dato la forza di non mollare: 'Tutte le persone che ho incontrato mi hanno insegnato qualcosa, soprattutto i barboni che sono riusciti in qualche modo a placare la mia anima ribelle. Avere un nostro ruolo nella societa' senza vivere ai suoi margini e' un privilegio e non una punizione come invece avevo creduto per molti anni'. Prima di lasciargli riprendere la sua corsa, nessun americano ha dimenticato di augurargli buona fortuna, 'Anche se qualcuno mi ha dato del pazzo e mi ha detto apertamente di non credere nella mia impresa perche' troppo controcorrente per poter essere apprezzata e troppo debole per poter combattere gli interessi delle grandi aziende, prime responsabili dell'inquinamento' . Ora pero' ad attenderlo c'e' la parte piu' ardua dell'intero viaggio, l'incontro con uno dei registi piu' conosciuti e apprezzati del cinema americano: 'Voglio andare da Spielberg perche' e' stato il mio ispiratore. Lo devo ringraziare, con il film 'E.T.' mi ha terrorizzato ma mi ha anche commosso e fatto piangere molto'. Per quel che riguarda invece, il suo film 'The Green War' dice: 'Forse ne apprezzera' lo spirito ambientalista e l'argue noise, nuovo genere musicale basato sui rumori naturali. Il film e' una miniera di idee che vanno dal riciclaggio, al terrorismo, alle energie alternative. Il suo messaggio e' uno solo: il denaro non deve essere piu' importante del rispetto degli esseri umani e della natura'. Presentatosi alla villa di Spielberg, pero', Gaudino non e' finora riuscito a incontrarlo, perche' assente da Los Angeles. E, alla fine, il ciclista piemontese ammette che incontrare il regista dei suoi sogni non e' poi cosi' importante: 'Se non riusciro' a parlargli non sara' un dramma perche' con la mia impresa volevo soprattutto inaugurare un nuovo stile di vita. E' poco, lo so, ma potrebbe essere l'inizio di un movimento molto piu' ampio'.

(ANSA) WASHINGTON- Italian's ready to start with his bicycle to cross 'coast to coast' the United States of America from New York to Los Angeles. HERE IS THE 2000 FIRST PICTURE
Gaudino of Biella has painted it
BIELLA - if it is not from guinness of the records, few misses us. the first picture of the third millennium, if not of the world at least as it regards the Italy, he has been painted from Renato Gaudino. the event is happened in square of the cathedral to Milan, clearly to strike some first midnight of the century, when the artist Biella rod has knelt, he has supported in earth the cloth, he has extracted some tubes of temper to oil from the marsupium pouch and, without the help of the brush, he has painted to hand the picture in the 2000 first one hundred seconds. the hope of the author is that the painting can purchase an international fame, pushed by the unusual established record.

RECORD’S PICTURE OF BEGINNING YEAR
Renato Gaudino, 23 years of Benna, he has wanted to celebrate the new year with a record. the night of December 31 was in plaza cathedral to Milan and, I haul to strike some midnight, rather than to toast and to celebrate as all the others, Renato Gaudino was lowered to earth intent to realize a record: the 2000 first picture. A PAINTER FOR PASSION

BENNA- Renato Gaudino is officially the author of the first painting of the third millennium. the young artist of connecting rod has been awarded the unusual record during the night of New Year's eve. during the party in square to Milan, in few second, Gaudino has painted the "millennium picture II" under the eyes I give people's thousand hedged in square. the technique of gaudino (in the photo aloft, together to one old painting of his) it is note as "paintbrushless": it consists in practice in to paint with the hands so that his own emotion is unloaded on directly the cloth without the intermediation of the brush.
